Amsterdam Genetics - AK-020 Autoflower: Excellent Autoflowering AK-47
Amsterdam Genetics used a true classic cannabis hybrid to create their latest autoflowering strain. AK-020 Autoflower is based on the famed AK-47, a strain that’s still a favourite for many and hardly ever disappoints.
The original AK-47 is a mix between Colombian, Mexican, and Afghan genetics, resulting in one superb nighttime strain. It doesn’t just make for an excellent chill-out smoke, but can also offer symptomatic relief thanks to its potency. AK-020 Autoflower is essentially a more balanced version of the original. Thanks to the added ruderalis genetics, the strain can now fulfill everyone’s wishes; still very potent and flavourful, but with the simplicity of an autoflower.
Growing an AK is rarely very difficult seeing that this line of genetics is extremely reliable, robust, and low-maintenance. At the same time, AKs can produce enormous yields, which is why it is always a top choice for commercial growers. Now in autoflowering form, growing Amsterdam Genetics’ take on the classic is even easier!
AK-020 Autoflower is an excellent choice for new growers who don’t like to accept compromises. She will still produce thick, heavy, and very resinous flowers. In good indoor conditions, you can expect your plant to reach 1.2-1.5m, where she can yield 500-600g/m², no sweat. Grow her outside and she can reach a height of up to 3m, where she will reward with harvests of 400-500g/plant when everything is optimal.
Good production is among the many reasons to grow this strain, as is her high-quality final product. The 35% sativa, 40% indica, and 25% ruderalis hybrid features the unmistakable flavours and satisfying pungency of the original. Her flavour profile nicely blends spicy and sweet notes, topping it all off with a subtle hint of liquorice.
Obviously, her smoke doesn’t just taste awesome. Measuring up to 20% THC, she can absolutely deliver if you’re looking for a smoke to relax and wind down. Great for relieving stress and inducing sleep when needed, this autoflowering AK is very suitable for medicinal users.
