Seeds in the drawer, a free shelf in the hall cupboard, and a plan to start a few plants next weekend: this is the shelf for that fortnight. Propagators, coco plugs and starter blocks, seedling trays and small pots, root stimulants and rooting gel for cuttings, plus the small tools that make the job less fiddly. Germinate, root, pot on, then hand the plants over to lights, feed & pest control for weed plants.
