About this format
Cannabis seeds are sold as collectable souvenirs and for the preservation of genetics. Feminized seeds grow into female plants, autoflowers switch to bloom on their own regardless of light schedule, and regular seeds produce both sexes for breeding. Germination is illegal in many countries — know your local law before you buy.

Barney's Farm - Tropicanna Banana: Potent, Productive, Pungent
Tropicanna Banana expresses a long list of impressive traits. She produces a massive yield, a tantalising terpene profile, and a monumental level of THC. For these reasons—among others—she meets the demands of many cultivators. This sativa-dominant hybrid excels in every area. She was made possible by crossbreeding two celebrity parent strains: Tropicanna, an immensely flavourful descendant of Girl Scout Cookies and Tangie, and Banana Kush, a euphoric, potent, and tasty hybrid in its own right. This pairing produced a well-balanced strain consisting of 60% sativa genetics and 40% indica.
TROPICANNA BANANA IN THE GROW-OP
Tropicanna Banana is a thoroughly enjoyable cultivar to grow. She produces massive colas that seem to double in size overnight. They grow into monolithic pillars abundant with glandular trichomes and colourful pistils. The strain exhibits more indica traits when it comes to her growing pattern, maintaining a compact height of around 110cm.
Tropicanna Banana is relatively easy to grow for a photoperiod strain. This makes her massive harvests accessible for novice growers. She’s particularly beginner-friendly outdoors and is highly resistant to many blights that often ruin growing operations. Her hardy genetics laugh in the face of botrytis, powdery mildew, and spider mites. The cultivar can handle a wide variety of environments, but thrives in hot and temperate regions.
Indoors, Tropicanna Banana will provide an impressive yield of up to 700g/m² after flowering for 65–70 days. When cultivated outdoors, she’ll produce a massive return of 2000g/plant, ready to harvest in October.
EFFECTS AND FLAVOUR PROFILE OF TROPICANNA BANANA
Many smokers try out Tropicanna Banana in search of a formidable psychoactive effect. Most of them are not disappointed. The cultivar’s massive buds house a THC level hovering between 22–25%. Upon smoking, the result is a profound shift in synaptic activity. The default way of thinking is interrupted. Anxiety, worry, and ruminating thoughts melt away. Deep contemplation and wonderment swiftly replace them. The high is primarily stimulating, but the indica elements anchor it in soothing relaxation.
These effects provide therapeutic relief for some medicinal users. Such enormous levels of THC can be effective at easing chronic pain and elevating appetite. Additionally, the peaceful and uplifting nature of the high can positively influence stress and low mood.
If the high wasn’t already pleasant enough, an array of delicious terpenes further enhance the effects. Her buds are exceptionally high in limonene, a terpene defined by scents of citrus and anti-anxiety effects. Myrcene is also dominant within her flowers, contributing tastes of spice and slightly sedating effects. Overall, Tropicanna Banana provides powerful scents and flavours of tropical fruits and sweetness.
The other Tropicana here, Tropicana Cherry, swaps banana for cherry and adds four points of THC.
