Chemdawg is rumoured to originate from Northern California but was discovered by Greg Krzanowski after seeing the Grateful Dead live in Deer Creek, Indiana. After scoring some stellar weed prior to the show, Krzanowski got an extra shipment delivered to his house. This batch contained the seeds that birthed Chemdawg 91, Chemdawg 4, Chemdawg D, and other original Chem strains. Ever since, Chemdawg has been renowned by growers and smokers everywhere for its pungent fuel aroma and uplifting creative effect.
Two roads fork from here: Chemdog Millionaire Guava (Garden of Green) trades some punch for guava fruit and a 650 g/m² harvest, while Candy Dawg Auto (Seedstockers) keeps the full 26% but flips it to autopilot.
Thanks to the efforts of Blimburn Seeds' expert genetics team, you can now grow Chem at home with ease. Chemdog #4 by Blimburn is a cross of Chemdawg and Green Crack, making for a slightly indica-dominant cultivar that's hardy, fast, and easy to grow. These plants typically reach max heights of 150 cm, making this a great strain for tents and rooms as well as outdoor gardens. Her hardy nature makes Chemdog #4 a great choice for beginners, as well as experienced growers who like to manipulate their plants using training. Plant her outside in April and Chemdog #4 will be harvest-ready by mid-October, yielding up to 700 g per plant. Indoors, on the other hand, Chemdog #4 can be harvested after 7–9 weeks in bloom and produces up to 500 g/m².
