Those in search of a fresh and fruity strain to invigorate the mind need look no further than Mimosa. Released by BSB Genetics, Mimosa is a 70% sativa-dominant hybrid created by crossing Clementine and Purple Punch.
BSB works from the same Clementine x Purple Punch parents as the big names; if you want the benchmark version of that cross, Mimosa (Royal Queen Seeds) is where it started for many growers.
The plant isn’t particularly difficult to grow, performing well both indoors and outdoors. But, to bring out her full flavour potential, it's recommended to grow her organically and in nutrient-rich soil. Space won’t likely be an issue as the plant only reaches a medium size. Grown in optimal conditions under a 600W light, yields of up to 625g/m² are possible indoors.
The breeders at BSB Genetics named the strain after the famously refreshing and bubbly summer cocktail made with champagne and orange juice. And, just like the famous drink, she is bursting with sweet and tangy orange flavours, to which she adds a fresh berry note on the exhale. Rich in flavourful terpenes, this is a good variety to enjoy in a vaporizer.
