The first of Dark Cookie's parents is Thin Mint Cookies, a unique GSC phenotype treasured for its balanced effects and delicious aroma reminiscent of, you guessed it, fresh mint cookies. Dark Cookie's second parent, Tahoe OG, is a sedative indica that will leave you seeping into the couch in a relaxed state of bliss. Emerging from this unique cross is Dark Cookie, which has gone on to inherit the best of both its predecessors.
On one hand, Dark Cookie has inherited the characteristic indica morphology of Tahoe OG. This strain stays short and stocky, with short internodal spacing and thick, dark green leaves that can grow to the size of your hand (or even bigger). Thanks to its short stature, Dark Cookie is ideal for growing in tents or small rooms, as well as in Sea Of Green setups. It responds really well to pruning, LST, and defoliation. If treated with care, it can also benefit from more stress-heavy techniques like mainlining, lollypopping, and super cropping (the latter of which will also help open up these bushy plants and improve light penetration through their canopy).
On the other hand, Dark Cookie also inherited the extremely balanced effects of its Thin Mint Cookies predecessor. Despite being loaded with THC-rich resin, the impact of Dark Cookie is not inherently overwhelming.
