Dutch Passion - Frisian Duck: Her webbed leaves make her a perfect guerrilla plant
Frisian Duck is in no way an ugly duckling, her name refers to the for a cannabis plant rather unusual and exceptional shape of her foliage. During her vegetative phase the webbed leaves resemble those of a maple tree or the footprint of a duck, only later during flowering some of the upper leaves may show the traditional cannabis shape. This is precisely the kind of trait that guerrilla growers look for, because even at a height of up to 2.5m she does not stick out a mile and renders the idea of a stealth outdoor grow void - if you place her in a corner of your garden (or a place in the great outdoors) where she can only be seen from afar, the plant will hardly be recognized as a cannabis plant, so (as always) choosing the right spot is key for a discrete grow operation. Reared indoors this absolutely unique plant will reach a height of up to 1.5m.
This result of crossing Frisian Dew with DucksFoot is a robust and easy to grow plant that emerges in the typical Christmastree-like shape. Her colors can vastly differ from that of a Nordmann fir though, because some phenotypes develop beautiful purple colors during flowering. In an indoor grow you can expect her to deliver her compact buds after 8 weeks of flowering - reared outdoors the plants reach full maturity early in October (April in the southern hemisphere). The harvest of Frisian Duck emanates spicy aromas of pine, citrus and fresh forest. The taste of the smoke is very similar, producing a refreshing cerebral stimulation.
The online cannabis community has been talking about DucksFoot and her webbed leaves already for a while now; the first (grow) reports date from 2007. Several seed companies tried to stabilize this strain, so it would give good results and therefore would be able to enter the commercial market. All those attempts failed unfortunately, until now!
