Critical Lights: Huge Yields When Grown Outdoors
Critical Lights is an indica-dominant hybrid that is recognised for its huge and heavy yields. The strain features a genetic makeup composed of 90% indica genetics and only 10% sativa. Critical Lights is the descendant of parent strains Critical and Northern Lights #5, both icons in their own right.
Afghan Noir keeps the caryophyllene and myrcene in a hashy, woody direction from Afghani and Sirius Black.
New York Diesel Auto shares both terpenes but stays light at 18 percent and 350 grams per square metre, the smallest yield here.
The indica dominance lends towards a stoning body high that is perfect for relaxing and chilling out during the evening hours. The flowers contain a potent THC content of 21%, fueling a high that is fast-acting and long-lasting. Indica strains are also recognised for their ability to potentially assist with pain and sleep issues, among others.
Critical Lights may also be favoured by cannabis connoisseurs whose herbal assessments go deeper than just psychoactive effects. The strain offers a rich flavour defined by spicy and fruity tastes. The aroma can also be described as spicy, with a touch of earth.
Critical Lights is relatively easy to grow, and is therefore a great all-round strain for both beginner and advanced cultivators. The strain is known for massive yields (thanks to its Critical influence), so structural assistance is usually required to prevent branches from snapping. String and stakes can be used to support branches with particularly swollen colas. Despite such big yields, Critical Lights remains a medium size for most of the grow cycle—a reflection of its indica dominance.
When grown indoors, Critical Lights can put out yields of between 500–600g/m². Outdoor plants can provide mammoth yields of between 1200–1500g/plant! The strain features a flowering time of 56 days, and will be ready to harvest during mid to late-September in the Great Outdoors.
