Kalashnikov Seeds – Kubanskiy Ubiyza (Kuban Killer) : Killer Smoke from Russia
In case you didn’t know it yet, the Kuban Region where this killer strain comes from is a region in Southern Russia not far from Crimea. This may not tell you a lot; however for our purposes it is interesting to know that this sunny area there at the Southern Russian boarder is where Kalashnikov Seeds are located and where they breed some outstanding AK-47 varieties for many years.
Their Kubanskiy Ubiyza is one of their noteworthy creations that like some of their other AK crosses impresses with very easy growth that doesn’t demand a lot from the grower. The cross between a Northern Lights, an AK-47 and one interesting Kuban Sativa hybrid shines with a natural resistance to all kinds of things that could otherwise make a grower’s life miserable: high humidity doesn't really bother her and neither will overly dry and hot summers.
This 60% Sativa can get quite tall if your grow her outdoors and can at times reach 200-300cm if you just let her. If you grow her indoors she’ll not get quite as tall and will normally stay at a reasonable 100-130cm. You can expect some outstanding yields of up to 1500g per plant outdoors and indoor harvests of 500-600 gr/m². In her rather short flowering time of 50-60 days she’ll develop massive, elongated buds that will be covered in layers of sticky resin plus she’ll bring a staggering THC content to the table that at times measures as high as 22%! It is because of her massive production that she can be an ideal plant if you want to make extracts, wax and hash oils!
If you know these facts now and then given her “Killer from the Kuban Region” name it will likely not come as a big surprise that she isn’t exactly a light-weight when it comes to her effect either. You’d be right thinking that she will make for an absolutely hammering AK effect, hard-hitting, very physical and superbly relaxing.
When it comes to her flavour, Kalashnikov Seeds’ Kubanskiy Ubiyza also won’t disappoint. Smoke her and she’ll please with refreshing citrus notes that are slightly sour and tangy, but nicely mixed with hints of tropical sweet and fruity notes. In other words: She tastes outright awesome!
