They took two extraordinary strains, the mouth-watering Gelato from California, with formidable Cookies genetics, and paired her with Bubba Kush, a strain that’s notorious for her heavy, tranquilizing indica effect. The child of this noteworthy marriage of great cannabis genetics, Gelato-K, surpasses even her outstanding parents in many aspects.
Although you can grow Gelato-K outdoors, it is indoors where this beautiful plant really shines. She grows to a medium-tall and spiky-looking plant that in no time will be brimming with tons of highly aromatic and resinous buds. Unlike some other sativas, her flowering time is very short, since she only needs 8–10 weeks to mature her buds. As she nears harvest time, Gelato-K boasts spectacular colours of blue and violet, leaving little doubt about why she was nicknamed "The Beautiful Girl". This is when you know that it won’t take much longer until you can harvest a nice 500g/m² in your tent, and up to 650g per plant if you have her growing outdoors, where she will be ready in October.
