Kannabia – Kritikal-K: Highly homogeneous growth and outstanding yields
Kritikal-K is a highly stabilized crossing of Critical and Northern Light. It took more than 5 years until Kannabia felt they were ready to release this strain. It was a time-consuming process because they wanted to create a Critical version that would have the ability to outperform many of the already existing varieties. Kritikal-K is indica-dominant and mainly based on Skunk and Afghan genetics. Both of the basis plants used for this crossing, Northern Light, and Critical, are strains that convince with extreme yields in a very short flowering time.
Once seedlings break the soil and begin to grow, growers will be amazed by the uncomplicated character of these plants and the remarkable homogeneity they display. When Kritikal-K enters the flowering period, the typical Sativa growing traits can be recognised. This can be confusing since Kritikal-K is clearly an indica-dominant strain. However, its leaves are emerald green, plants grow rather bushy, and its blossoms will have a very high buds density. Proper humidity control is, therefore, unavoidable. Indoor yields of Kritikal-K are almost unreal with up to 650g/m² in 55 days of flowering.
Aromas will slowly build up in flowering and can be described as a pleasant mix of fruit, blended with a decent amount of sweetness. Once plants approach harvest, they’ll give off delicious scents of lemon sorbet that intensify during the curing process. The high of Kritikal-K is strong, deeply relaxing, and mostly influenced by the indica-dominant part. Critical and Northern Light are both candidates that won’t fail do deliver a deeply sedative body stone that is appreciated by a wide range of cannabis users.
