Mr Nice - Ortega: A pure indica that is easy to grow
Ortega by Mr. Nice is a mix of NL#1 and NL#5, making it a pure, thoroughbred indica. It is an old school strain that has roots back in the mid 80's, it is still popular today and is a classic that can be enjoyed by all levels of smokers and cultivators.
This strain has peppery aromas and fruity, berry tastes that will induce a potent sedative buzz – in both body and mind. It is ideal for relaxing when you do not have to get anything done. It has great couch-lock potential and will get you giggling away with friends before taking away all tension within your body. This makes it a powerful strain, ideal for those looking for some night time medical relief. Ortega is great for treating chronic pain, stress, anxiety and insomnia. There is something that every indica smoker will enjoy here and it is an exemplary strain to try if you have never really had any indica – there is great potential to use this strain as a go to, everyday smoke for unwinding after a hard day.
Ortega is a very easy strain to grow, it is well suited to both novice and veteran cultivators alike. Commercial cultivators will be happy with the yield to flowering time ratio – you get a lot of product for your time. The flowering period is roughly 42-56 days for optimal yields. It grows as you would expect a pure indica to, with a compact, Christmas tree structure ans stick, resin covered buds.
Ortega by Mr. Nice is suitable for indoor, outdoor and greenhouse cultivation. This strain will respond well to both hydro and bio methods of cultivation.
