Organic Nettle Leaves: A Holistic Staple
Nettle is one of those plants that has been used by people for hundreds of years in natural holistic practices. Organic, and vegan and vegetarian-friendly, cut and dried nettle leaves (Urtica dioica) are full of beneficial vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, such as vitamins C, E, K, and several B vitamins, as well as iron and calcium. The plant offers a smooth and mild flavour that is described as a blend of spinach and cucumber, and it can be used in cooking to add another dimension to dishes while packing them with nutrients.
A teaspoon, ten minutes in boiled water, and a flavour somewhere between spinach and cucumber. It is the most local thing in the superfood selection at Zamnesia, growing on any field edge in Europe, where Matcha Powder Organic is the leaf you whisk rather than steep.
Ingredients: Nettle leaves
