Nirvana - AK48: Fast-Flowering Strain Perfect For The Outdoor
Although thought to be originated back in the ’70s, the AK line of cannabis strains has gained more and more popularity since their debut in the ’90s. The AK48, a cross between Colombian Gold x Thai x Mexican x Afghani, is one of the fastest AK strain available today. The strong genetic heritage—especially the Afghani one—gives this strain an incredible advantage in harsh weather condition and pest prone areas.
AK48 is easy to grow and will be a pleasure to cultivate among both novices and experts. This cultivar has a quick flowering time of 7–9 weeks, and it's perfect to practise training techniques such as SOG or ScrOG. Untouched, AK48 will grow up to 120cm, with the classic main central cola and smaller bud sites at its side. Yield is around 400–500g/m² of thick and frosty buds.
AK48 packs quite a punch! Average THC-content is around 14–16%, which is mellowed by the presence of CBD. The effect is generally euphoric and happy, but also very relaxing.
