If you've been looking for a reliable and easy way to measure out your favourite dry herbs, concentrates, or mushrooms, the SBM-100 from On Balance will undoubtedly do the trick. This scale is extremely straightforward to use, thanks to an intuitive two-button system. Make no mistake, though, this scale has great precision and can be dialled in to 0.01g increments. With an overall capacity of 100g, it's great for managing larger quantities and microdoses alike.
The beauty behind the SBM-100 is the included collapsible silicone bowl. This in itself is worth the purchase, and is able to handle sticky resins, extracts, and concentrates effortlessly. Complete with raised sides, it's easy to keep all of your substances in one place.
Measuring 12.3 × 7.2 × 1.9cm, the SBM-100 is the perfect desktop accessory, but is also small enough to slip into your bag and take with you everywhere you go. This is a sturdy and reliable scale that can sit comfortably on any surface. All that's required are a couple of AAA batteries, and you're good to go. Complete with a long charge, the SBM-100 will be ready to use when you are, and for a long time to come.
Once you've set this scale up, a press of the power button is all it takes for the SBM-100 to spring into action. Featuring an extra-large green backlit LCD screen, it's easy to get a readout while you're weighing things out. Opposite the screen, there's a second button to select different modes. Simply click to cycle through the options and choose between: g, oz, ozt, dwt, ct, gn.
Depending on what you're weighing out, the SBM-100 may get a little messy through general use. However, thanks in part to the silicone bowl, the scale is really simple to clean. A damp cloth is often enough to restore the SBM-100 to its shop-bought glory, and it'll be ready to use again in no time at all. Just be sure to let it thoroughly dry out before weighing more of your stash.
