Paradise Seeds - Sweetopia: Sweet, Sweet Indica Dreams
From the minds at Paradise Seeds comes Sweetopia, a suped-up indica-dominant (70%) cultivar bearing a sweet yet nuanced aroma and flavour alongside a surging cerebral effect. A finely tuned combination of Citral and Thin Mint—both fierce indicas in their own right—Sweetopia is sweet in more ways than one, offering abundant yields after a short flowering stage.
This bushy, productive specimen is well-suited to indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation, requiring little more than good air circulation and some pruning during the flowering stage to support bud development. Reaching a compact height and exhibiting very little stretching during pre-flowering, plants require just 8–9 weeks to flower indoors, and will be ready to harvest in early October outdoors. Once harvest time comes around, Sweetopia will be gleaming with an intense white sheen of trichomes surrounded by an array of other colours, including reds and purples, making for a truly astonishing sight. Indoors, yields of up to 600g/m² are achievable, with up to 900g/plant outdoors.
Now, the part you’ve all been waiting for; Sweetopia is indeed a taste sensation. Upfront notes of orange, lemon, and lime prevail, but are backed up with pleasantly complex notes of petrol, hash, and earth. Though the smoke is undoubtedly sweet, there’s a nice savoury undertone, making for a moreish experience. Sweetopia offers different effects depending on the dose. Just a few tokes of this 20–23% THC powerhouse will initiate an energising and uplifting cerebral experience, while a whole joint will give rise to a more stoned, but still uplifting, physical high.
