Pheno Finder Seeds is a team of experienced growers and breeders from Holland, Spain, and the USA. Born out of Voyagers Coffeeshop from Amsterdam, their mission is to bring us some the finest cannabis strains and most sought-after phenos of new and classic cultivar. This time, they focussed entirely on the many Cheese lovers among cannabis enthusiasts, and crossed a clone of a genuine UK Cheese (UK Bluez) with a Blue Cheese male. To say that this cross would delight Cheese aficionados is probably the understatement of the century...
On one side of Fromage Blue’s parentage is UK Bluez, which is a sativa-dominant hybrid that grows much like Skunk #1. And just like the original Skunk, Fromage Blue is very easy to grow, robust, reliable, and doesn’t demand a lot if you want to see good results. Her low-maintenance nature and tolerance for grower error make the strain great for less-experienced cultivators. While Fromage Blue is already a great producer, she makes a particularly good figure in a ScrOG if you want to max out your yields.
Fromage Blue’s rich flavour unsurprisingly impresses with the typical, highly aromatic, and somewhat pungent Cheese notes that made Cheese one of the most popular strains ever to hit the UK. But Fromage Blue isn’t just yet another (albeit excellent) Cheese variety; she tops it off by brilliantly adding fruit and berry notes to her already spectacular taste. This makes Fromage Blue, just as her name implies, a real delicacy—even for very spoiled cannabis consumers. And she has the awards to prove it, having won 2nd Place at the Canary Island Cup in 2015.
