Pyramid Seeds - Auto Purple: A feast for the eye and palate
The short and simple name Auto Purple may sound unspectacular, but the plant itself definitely is more spectacular than one might expect. L'Hort Dels Somnis and Pyramid Seeds blended the genetics of Purple and Ruderalis and therewith created an incredibly appealing autoflowering strain. As with many autoflowering strains, the THC level is not that impressive, but the relatively high CBD level is very interesting for medical users.
Auto Purple is a genetic mix of 65% Sativa, 25% Ruderalis and 10% Indica. Despite the Sativa dominance, Auto Purple stays at a manageable height of only 50-120cm, making her a perfect candidate for guerrilla grows. If you opt for outdoor cultivation, you should plant her directly in soil or large flower pots (20l) to allow for the best results - plants with plenty of space for a well-developed root system have the potential to yield 200 grams.
Auto Purple performs great in SOG and ScrOG setups and is not miserly when it comes to the yield. The plants reach full maturity after 8-10 weeks after germination and deliver up to 550g/m². Other than many plants with the attribute "purple" in their name, Auto Purple develops purple buds instead of purple foliage.
The fully matured plants exude a sweet smell of black liquorice whereas the smoke has a delicious flavor of grape juice and berries. When it comes to potency, Auto Purple is not really a mega star in regards to the THC level, which is anywhere between 9 and 15%, but the CBD production is pretty good. With a CBD level of 1.5% this strain is a good choice for patients suffering from pain and muscle tension.
