Royal Queen Seeds - Skunk XL: Pleasantly easy to grow plant
Skunk XL is based on a mix of Afghan, Colombian and Mexican strains - the famed Skunk #1, a genetic composition that laid the tracks for an entirely new generation of cannabis varieties. Throughout the years it has been worked on to improve the taste and bud formation and now Royal Queen Seeds offers this all time classic variety as feminized seeds. And the trailing XL in the name is more than well-deserved - expect extra large yields.
Skunk XL is a pleasantly easy to grow plant even novices will love. She does not require much care and fertilizer and has a short flowering time for a Sativa dominant variety. Despite the Sativa dominance the plants don't stretch much during their flowering time, reaching a final height of 100-120cm indoors. After 7-8 weeks of flowering the plants have developed 600-650g/m². The large, candle-shaped buds are bristling with long pistils and boast with a THC level of 15%. The effect of the smoke is a pleasant combination of cerebral inebriation and body relaxation - and you will surely enjoy her sweet and fruity taste.
Outdoors she prefers a warmer climate such as in Spain, Italy or California, however, her relatively short flowering time allows for cultivation in more northern latitudes such as UK, Netherlands and Germany, but will not reach her full potential as she would indoors. In an outdoor grow the plants have reached their final height of 160-200cm in October, yielding 650-700 gram each.
