Tatanka Iyotake, also known as Sitting Bull, was a storied Native American medicine man. Along with being the leader of the Hunkpapa Sioux, a council fire of the Lakota tribe, he offered potent, effective remedies to his people. While he deserves to be revered in many more ways, the people behind Tatanka Pure CBD wanted to pay their respects with a specially named strain.

To create Tatanka Pure CBD, the breeders at Royal Queen Seeds crossbred two CBD-rich strains; namely, Elixir Vitae and Medical CBD. While only the latter has CBD in its name, both strains are known for their market-leading concentrations of cannabidiol. Given this, along with their respective durability, their offspring was bound to be an ideal combo of their best traits.
Tatanka grows much like the average indica, and the payoff is exceptional. If you're growing indoors, these plants will reach a decent 70–110cm in height and will give you 400–450g/m² of bud for your trouble. Outdoor growing, while more difficult in some ways, will lead to a greater payoff in the form of 100–160cm-tall plants that deliver up to 450g/plant. Either way, give these plants about 6–8 weeks to flower. If growing outdoors, you can expect to harvest around the beginning of October.
As you take a whiff of your buds, you'll notice that caramel and bitter spice are quick to introduce themselves. It'll be confusing at first, but we've found the combination to be a uniquely pleasant sensation.
