In a pioneering push for higher THC levels, breeders created Triple G. They wanted something that would stone the mind into oblivion after just a few hits. To achieve this goal, they needed to start off with exceptionally powerful parent strains. They decided to employ the infamous Gorilla Glue #4 as parent strain #1. This powerhouse hybrid boasts high levels of THC and gained notoriety after winning the Michigan and Los Angeles Cannabis Cups, and the High Times Jamaican World Cup.
Gorilla Glue #4 was a good start, but breeders needed something to add an extra psychoactive kick. They settled on Gelato #33, a high-THC phenotype bred from Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint GSC. This West Coast indica is famed for her body-slamming high and dessert-like flavours. After several generations of stabilisation, breeders were pleased with the result! Triple G emerged as an indica-dominant variety with impressive levels of THC and superb productivity.
Triple G maintains a medium height both indoors and outdoors. She’s easy to train and can be grown in cupboards, small grow tents, and hidden areas of your garden. She displays an indica morphology with bushy growth and broad-fingered fan leaves. Indoor plants reach between 90–140cm in height and produce a rewarding yield of 500–575g/m². Prepare to trim and dry these buds after a short flowering phase of 8–9 weeks. Plants cultivated outdoors peak at 180cm and pump out 550–650g/plant. Expect to harvest your crop during mid-October.
Triple G produces small yet dense flowers. Each bud features shades of light purple and light green, along with a thick coating of trichomes. These flowers might look innocent, but don’t be fooled; they produce a mind-shattering THC content of 26%.
