Sensi Seeds - Satin Black Domina CBD: The Best Of Both Worlds
You may have heard of 1:1 THC:CBD strains, but have you ever come across a 2:1 strain? Probably not; well, until today, that is. Bringing the benefits of both major cannabinoids to the table, we'd like to introduce you to Satin Black Domina CBD, courtesy of Sensi Seeds. A result of their 2019 Sensi Seeds Research project, the strain became so popular that it is now a fixed feature in their catalogue.
Experienced smokers might recognise a portion of the name. Indeed, Black Domina, an indica-heavy cultivar with anywhere between 18–24% THC, is the mother plant. Where the CBD comes in, though, is a bit of a mystery, as the specific strain name hasn't been disclosed. Whatever it was, though, brought balance in a couple of important ways.
This feminized hybrid is a true pleasure to grow. Plants reach a decent height and flower for about 55–65 days, delivering indoor harvests of around 500g/m² and outdoor harvests of 500g/plant. Long, hot summers are best for this cultivar. If your climate doesn’t fit in this category, opt for a greenhouse, if possible.
As far as the taste goes, citrus and herbs are the first notes you'll detect. Peppery and spicy accents work their way in as well, without overstaying their welcome. When you take a deep breath in through your nose, you'll be enveloped in a fruity and peppery blanket. Most wouldn't expect that combo to work, but oddly enough, it does.
Even besides this sensory paradise, Satin Black Domina CBD will have you feeling just right. With a 13–14% THC content and 7% CBD, you'll be able to get decently high, but it's nothing too overwhelming. The undisclosed CBD strain brings enough sativa genetics to offer a hint of cerebral stimulation. Relaxation, however, is this strain's main goal, with both sides of Satin Black Domina CBD's genetics providing a soothing sensation. CBD Auto 1:1 is the autoflowering route to an even split between the two cannabinoids. Balanced types and CBD-dominant ones both turn up in the CBD seed assortment.
