Strain Hunters - White Lemon: A Balanced Hybrid With Exceptional Yields
By mating El Niño and Super Lemon Haze, a sumptuous and dependable hybrid was born. Representing the peak of balanced indica/sativa hybrids, White Lemon is a curious creature that defies expectations at just about every turn—in the best of ways.
White Lemon is only a medium-tall plant, but develops very strong branches and takes full advantage of the flowering stretch, allowing for considerably high yields. Still, her internodes are fairly short, with all available space used efficiently. After 8–9 weeks of flowering, she is ready for harvest. This is the moment at which White Lemon impresses the most, yielding in the range of 800–900g/m² indoors, and in excess of 1kg/plant outdoors. Every inch of the plant will be positively glimmering with trichomes, hinting at her exceptional candidacy for extract creation.
Keep in mind that these plants will get super pungent by about the halfway point of bloom, with an aroma defined by citrus and Skunk notes at this stage. Once buds have been harvested, dried, and cured, the smell takes on more complex nutty, earthy, spicy, and lemon notes, with hints of wood. Just as diverse as these flavours are, so too is the high. Although it takes a minute to kick in, this is certainly a potent stash; the high is strong and cerebral at first (you can thank the Haze for that), but then tapers into a more physical stone courtesy of an equal portion of indica genetics. In total, the effect is quite long-lasting, making this plant both a productive and powerful specimen to boot. Photoperiod growers have plenty to pick from across the Strain Hunters seed collection, with only one autoflowering pack in the mix. Flowerbomb Kush is the cup winner of the bunch, having taken first place at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2012.
