At Zamnesia, we are never content with simply making a copy of popular genetics; instead, we chose to create our own unique version to elevate this breeding trend to an even higher plane. By pairing Gelato with special pheno Gelato #33, then adding Wedding Cake to the mix (which itself is a mix of Triangle Kush x Animal Mints), this genetic matrimony resulted in a slightly indica-dominant strain (60% indica and 40% sativa) that pleases cannabis consumers all along the indica-sativa spectrum. Every component of this strain works in harmony to deliver balanced growth, flavour, and effects.
GROWING GELATO
Indoors, Gelato is squat but sturdy, reaching between 50–100cm in height. After a breezy flowering period of 8–9 weeks, she yields roughly 400–500g/m². Outdoors, she’s capable of climbing up to 2m in height, ultimately delivering 300–400g/plant during mid-October. Grown under natural sunlight, she prefers a warm and humid climate. Gelato develops compact and potent buds with vibrant orange hairs over a dark green background—an arresting sight that signifies the prime genetics used to develop her.
AROMA & EFFECT OF GELATO
But where this strain really shines is its aroma and well-balanced effect. Toward the end of flowering, you will begin to notice a super-sweet scent with earthy undertones.
