Dutch Passion - Mazar: A powerful cross of Afghan and Skunk with soft taste and 20% of THC
The strain was created as a cross between two traditional breeding varieties, the pure Afghan and a Dutch classic - Skunk. Compared to the parent plants, utch Passion's Mazar had a significantly better taste, with a softer smoke and higher yields.
What is characteristic for Mazar is its powerful high - at close to 20% of THC, it is one of the strongest marijuana on the market. The plant itself doesn't grow big in terms of size, but produces massive buds and don't require much care. Flowering time is approximately 8 to 9 weeks.
Dutch Passion has a long standing reputation of being a decent cannabis strain that growers often come back to. It was awarded several prestigious awards, including:
- Second prize at the famous Hight TImes Cannabis Cup (Indica category) back in 1999
- Second prize at the High Life Cup (bio category) in 2002
- The first prize Tipo at Forte, Bologna 2008
