Organic Goji Berries: An Ancient Asian Superfood
Goji berries are the fruit of Lycium barbarum or Lycium chinense, two closely related species of the nightshade family. Native to Asia, goji berries have long been a staple of Asian cuisine and holistic practices, particularly in China, Korea, and Japan. The berries are naturally rich in protein, fibre, and carbohydrates, as well as iron, vitamin A, and vitamin C—the latter of which have been extensively studied for their antioxidant properties. These dried goji berries are 100% organic and originate from plantations around China's Yellow River. Add them to your favourite sweet and savoury meals, enjoy them on their own, or brew goji berries into a delicious tea to reap their many nutrients.
Dried on plantations along China's Yellow River, and the fruit of Lycium barbarum rather than a true berry. In the dried superfood range it is the one you can eat straight from the bag, Goji Berry Tea is the same fruit brewed instead of chewed, and Acerola Powder Organic is the powdered route to the same vitamin.
Ingredients: 100% dried organic goji berries
