Royal Queen Seeds - Joanne's CBD: CBD Without The High
Joanne’s CBD stems from a mighty genetic lineage. This high-CBD cultivar arrived when breeders crossed parent strains Session and Juanita La Lagrimosa — two varieties esteemed for producing cerebral clarity and peace of mind. Overall, Joanne’s CBD offers therapeutic effects and relaxation without a psychotropic effect.
Royal Queen Seeds decided to recruit Sessions to bring energetic sativa terpenes to the table; the parent strain produces an array of heady constituents. Plus, Sessions is known for her impressive output and bulky colas. She brought in some impressive traits, but high levels of CBD were the main focus of the operation. To achieve this, Royal Queen Seeds employed the so-called “mother of modern CBD strains”. Juanita La Lagrimosa can contain CBD levels as high as 22%, alongside low levels of THC. The therapeutic strain has also won numerous awards for her citrusy tastes and clear-headed effects.
After crossing both of these varieties, Joanne’s CBD emerged as a CBD-dominant cultivar, boasting high CBD levels (up to 18%) from Juanita La Lagrimosa and the dense yields of Sessions—while keeping THC at a max 0.75%. She also features a sativa dominant genetic profile of 75% sativa and 25% indica.
Growers will have fun with this strain. She’s simple to grow and produces an impressive return. Indoor plants grow to between 80-120cm and provide a yield of 500-550g/m². Prepare to smoke these medicinal buds after a flowering time of 7-8 weeks. Are you planning to grow outside? Watch your plants grow up to 180cm and pump out a harvest of 425-475g/plant.
