About this format
Cannabis seeds are sold as collectable souvenirs and for the preservation of genetics. Feminized seeds grow into female plants, autoflowers switch to bloom on their own regardless of light schedule, and regular seeds produce both sexes for breeding. Germination is illegal in many countries — know your local law before you buy.

Sensi Seeds – Mexican Sativa: Oaxaca Sativa landrace x Durban Poison x Pakistani hash plant
Mexico is a country with a rich cannabis culture and home of some of the best Sativa landraces. One of them is the famous Oaxacan Sativa line that was used to create many of the potent Haze strains we grow and smoke today. Sensi Seeds decided to enrich the genetic makeup of the Oaxacan line with Durban Poison and a fast-flowering Pakistani hash plant to reduce the flowering time and to give Mexican Sativa the capacity to thrive in colder European climates.
One of its parents gets the full spotlight in Durban, the pure African sativa of the range.
Sensi Seeds’ Mexican Sativa has 70% Sativa genetics and finishes its flowering period in 50-70 days. Unlike many strains that mainly display Sativa characteristics, this hybrid is relatively easy to grow and a viable choice for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. The overall hardiness, resilience, and growing speed profits a lot from the inclusion of Durban Poison and an Indica from Pakistan. Growers need to be aware that Mexican Sativa stretches quite a bit and grows into a tall stature, especially when grown outdoors.
The effects of Mexican Sativa might surprise you – so better expect a clear-headed and uplifting Sativa high of the finest quality. The Oaxacan line is famous for its unique buzz, suspected reason why US and Canadian tourists started to import seeds during the late 60’s and early 70’s. Besides providing effects that true Sativa lovers cherish, Mexican Sativa convinces with an interesting blend of aromas combining sandalwood, aniseed, and the fresh resin-tinged scents of the Oaxaca Sativa.
Growers of all skill levels looking for a hardy and fast-flowering Sativa hybrid don’t need to look any further. Mexican Sativa fuses exceptional strains from three continents into one plant, but the characteristics of the Mexican landrace clearly dominate this crossing – so give this elegant lady from the Sierra Madre a chance and you’ll be rewarded with a satisfying, old-school Sativa high.
Its old Mexican sativa landrace heritage cements its spot in our best regular seeds.
