Combining the original Gelato—which itself is a three-way cross of Wedding Cake x Gelato x Gelato 33—with ruderalis, our breeders created a refined autoflowering specimen that refuses to compromise on quality.
In the grow room, Gelato Autoflower compares to few other autoflowers. These seeds have a great germination rate and sprout extremely quickly (sometimes even overnight!). Once planted, you’ll see Gelato Autoflower quickly sprout into healthy, stable seedlings.
Roughly 7–10 days after germinating, Gelato Autoflower should develop its first set of true leaves, marking the beginning of its vegetative growth phase. To help promote maximum growth during its short vegetative period, we recommend planting germinated Gelato Autoflower seeds straight into their final container and growing them in a rich, organic super soil. This will eliminate the stress associated with transplanting, and will also present your plants with a plethora of organic nutrients to fuel their growth.
Under the right conditions, Gelato Autoflower demonstrates vigorous vegetative growth right out of the gate. It’ll quickly develop thick foliage and plenty of bud sites, despite its short stature. After about 3–4 weeks of vegging, it'll start to flower.
Gelato Autoflower’s bloom phase lasts around 6–7 weeks and will progress equally quickly as its vegetative phase. After they’ve sprouted their first batch of pistils, you’ll see Gelato Autoflower buds start to thicken up on almost a daily basis. If you’re growing organically, this is the time to use natural phosphorous-rich teas to promote bud growth and molasses to boost trichome production. After about 3 weeks of bloom, we recommend you start checking in on the trichomes to see their development. Thanks to its solid growth traits and indica-dominant genetics, Gelato Autoflower can deliver exceptional yields of 450–500g/m² indoors and up to 150g/plant outdoors!
Once dried and cured, Gelato Autoflower delivers the delicious aromas that made the feminized photoperiod version of this strain so famous. Its bouquet combines notes of sweet citrus, vanilla, and mint with earthy, slightly herbal undertones. Its effects are strong (thanks to a whopping 26% THC!), treating you to an initial euphoria that’ll immediately put a smile on your face.
