Chamomile - Traditionally used in teas
Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is a daisy-like plant of the Asteraceae family that was used in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. In traditional folk medicine, chamomile has been used for centuries in teas as a way to promote sleep readiness. The dried flowerheads sit beside our range of incense sticks and essential oils. To scent a room by the drop instead, Rose Essential Oil goes into the water dish of a burner or diffuser.

Chamomile catches people out: it tastes gentle but needs a full 190 C, the top of the vape herbs range. Lemon Balm gives a similar calm character at just 140 C if you prefer running cool, and Gunpowder Tea is the neutral base to bulk it out with.
Chamomile has been in teapots since ancient Egypt and stays the most forgiving entry point to the herb range. Chamomile is the gentlest entry point in our wind-down selection. Flowers steep quickly; Mulungu 80g is bark and wants noticeably longer in the pot.
