Dutch Passion - Power Plant: Almost Pure South African Sativa
Many growers went into Dutch Passion's Power Plant after tasting it in one of the coffeeshops in the Netherlands, when it quickly became a bestseller after being introduced in 1997.
This unique, South African strain has just a touch of indica, that provides the plant with heavier crops, and bigger and fatter buds. It does remarkably well in indoor, greenhouse and outdoor settings, producing a great crop of devilishly strong marijuana—hence the name.
Fairly straightforward to cultivate, Power Plant reaches around 100–150cm, developing lots of colas. Yields are extremely high, between 500–600g/m²! This plant grows extremely well indoor, where the grower has full control over the environment. Outside, in nature, warm and Mediterranean climates will do this plant wonders.
The smoke has a rich and sweet taste and provides a strong, cerebral high. The effects are definitely sativa-dominant, making this plant perfect for users looking for an energetic and creative smoke.
Power Plant leans sativa where White Widow leans indica. Both finish in 8 to 9 weeks and both are rated Easy, so the choice is really about the effect you want.
