Dutch Passion - Tropical Tangie: Mouth-Watering, Uplifting Sativa
The breeders at Dutch Passion wanted to take the dazzling Tangie to another level by finding the best pheno of their Tangie-on-Tangie cross. They settled on a vigorous plant with enhanced flavours, plenty of THC, and superb effects, calling it Tropical Tangie. Tropical Tangie is a sativa-dominant specimen, which is visible in its structure. It's a plant that can thrive in various environments, but it does prefer hot and dry climates when it comes to outdoor grows. Potent and resinous, this gourmet hybrid is also a pleasure to look at, thanks to the beautiful and rather unusual colours of red and orange it often develops.
Once seeds are in the soil, Tropical Tangie begins to impress with its stability and vigour. It grows quickly and produces plenty of leaves, so light defoliating is recommended to improve light penetration and air circulation. This variety is an excellent choice for SOG and ScrOG setups, which may improve final yields. Tropical Tangie grows to 75–125cm, depending on the environment and training techniques used. Left to its own devices, it develops sturdy lateral branches and a strong main cola with loads of resinous buds.
After 8–9 weeks of flowering, it's time to start trimming the flowers. Tropical Tangie can produce up to 450–550g/m² in indoor setups, and outdoor hauls are similarly rewarding.
After drying and curing, flowers are ready to be sampled. Tropical Tangie's terpene profile is highly complex and pleasant, mixing fruity, citrusy notes with chemical, diesel undertones. This unique blend is very powerful and lingers in the air, making your mouth water and firing up the taste buds as you smoke. This refreshing experience is accompanied by potent, long-lasting effects that are primarily cerebral, energising, and euphoric.
