Zamnesia - Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis): Aromatic and Versatile
Rosmarinus officinalis, more commonly referred to as rosemary, is a perennial herb native to the Mediterranean. As a member of the mint family, rosemary has aromatic, needle-like leaves, and flowers that can be white, pink, purple, or blue. Typically found growing near the coast, rosemary's ancient name in classical Latin is actually “rōs marīnus", which translates to “dew of the sea”.
Needle-like leaves, peppery and pine-like with notes of lavender and citrus, steeped as a tea or baked into bread. In the mineral range at Zamnesia it is a kitchen ingredient rather than a dose, and Thyme is its counterpart, warmer and more savoury on the tongue.
Not only renowned for its peppery, pine-like flavour with notes of lavender, citrus, and sage, rosemary also has some possible wellness benefits that make it highly sought after to this very day. In fact, the oil derived from rosemary is used in many wellness products and supplements.
If you're looking for an easy way to get some rosemary into your life, it doesn't get any simpler than this pack. Steep the leaves in hot water to release all of the aromatic goodness, and you've got a handy drink that you can enjoy at any time of day. Or, if you prefer, you can always spread the scent of rosemary throughout your home with an aroma lamp. With plenty of applications, this is one versatile herb that keeps on giving! Our selection of oils, incense and kitchen-familiar dried herbs runs a lot deeper than this one pack. Loose leaf can also be smouldered on Purifying Charcoal Discs, which sit in a heatproof bowl or shell while they glow. A Dragon's Blood Smudge Stick skips loose material altogether, since it's a bound wand you light directly.
No published vaporizing figure exists for rosemary, so start in the middle of the vape herbs bands and climb slowly. Thyme is the other resinous Lamiaceae herb and takes 190 C, while Catnip is the gentler mint relative at 150 C.
